A college student who was a victim of a hit-and-run incident died at the national highway in Sitio Balogo, Brgy. Magallon Cadre, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 19.
Deserie Tadena, a third year Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education student at the Central Philippine State University-Moises Padilla Campus, died after she was hit by a motorcycle.
Investigation revealed that the victim was fetched by her uncle who stopped by the roadside to urinate.
The victim remained sitting on the motorcycle when a blue motorcycle hit it causing Tadena to accidentally throttle it.
The victim’s head hit a road barrier causing her death.
The police already have a person of interest as the uncle of the victim was familiar with the face of the suspect.*
