A fire caused close to P1 million in damages to a warehouse at Galo-Lopez Jaena streets in Brgy. 27, Bacolod City, Monday morning, Jan. 27.
The fire hit the Shining Seas Purified Drinking Water warehouse at about 11 a.m., the Bacolod Fire Station reported.
Gallons of water and hardware supplies were stored at the warehouse.
Edison Ledesma, owner of the property, said that the fire started at the back of the warehouse.
There were no persons inside the warehouse during the incident, he added.
Fire fighters arrived at the establishment two minutes after the blaze was reported and declared the fire out at about 11:23 a.m., the Bacolod Fire Station report said.
The warehouse incurred an estimated P825,000 in damages, it added.*
