City gov’t to launch Bacolod Sunday market on Feb. 23

The Bacolod City government is launching the Sunday Market and the Kadiwa ng Pangulo at the Bacolod City Government Center grounds 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sunday, February 23.

This initiative aims to provide a platform for small businesses, promote sustainable agriculture, and strengthen the local food economy by directly connecting farmers and fisherfolk with consumers, a press release from the Bacolod City government said.

The Bacolod Sunday Market and Kadiwa ng Pangulo will showcase a variety of fresh and locally produced goods, including cooked seafood, seasonal fruits, vegetables, plants and succulents, herbs, processed mushrooms, cooked eggs, brewed coffee, kakanins, and fresh lettuce, the press release said.*
