Central Negros Electric Cooperative’s residential power rates have further dropped by PO.9345 per kilowatt hour (kWh) in April.
The April residential rate is P12.7371 per kWh, Ceneco announced on Monday, April 17.
Ceneco said the decrease is attributed to the following:
*Total Generation charges decreased by 9.18 percent compared to previous month due to the decrease in Palm Concepcion Power Corporation (PCPC) 35MW fuel cost;
*Decrease in Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) price; and
PCPC fuel discount of PO.16/kWh for the March 2023 billing for 35MW Power Supply Agreement.
