The Central Negros Electric Cooperative announced a P1.5577 decrease in its electricity rates this March, from P11.7856 per kilowatt-hour last month to P10.2279/kWh this month.
CENECO, in a press release on Saturday, March 16, said that its generation charge is at P6.5036/kWh while its transmission charge is at P0.6172, and Systems Loss at P0.7928.
Its Feed in Tariff (FIT)-all and lifeline and senior citizens discount, and Value Added Tax is at P1.1277, and Distribution Fee is at P1.1866/kWh.
Last week, NOCECO also announced a P2 decrease in its electricity rates attributing it to a decrease in the generation charge from the Wholesale Electric Spot Market and other generation power plants.
Northern Negros Electric Cooperative has yet to announce its electricity rates for March.*
