Celebrity singers Moira Dela Torre, Rico Blanco and Janella Salvador, and Filipino rock band “Parokya ni Edgar” will highlight the concert events at the upcoming 29th Panaad sa Negros Festival, the festival of festivals in Negros Occidental, at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City on March 24 to 30.
“Malaya” singer Dela Torre will grace the Panaad stage on March 25 while Blanco and Salvador will have a back-to-back performance on March 29, and Parokya ni Edgar will close the festivities on March 30.
These celebrities are part of the jampacked schedule of the provincial festival that was launched on Feb. 28.
On the opening day, March 24, the ribbon cutting of the various festival villages will be conducted in the morning, the opening program will be held late in the afternoon followed by the Best of Festival Dances Competition.
Day 2 will be highlighted by the 2nd MLBB Governor’s Cup, Pop Dance Competition, Radio Drama Competition, and Concert sa Panaad with Moira.
The Folk Dance Competition and Battle of the Bands will be held on March 26 and the judging of the visual arts competition, pop songwriting competition, and the Governor’s Night will be on March 27.
Friday, March 28, will be highlighted by the Latin Dance Sports Competition and the highly-anticipated “Lin-ay sang Negros” coronation night at the Panaad Stadium.
The Tourism Stakeholders Night and Media Night will be held on Saturday, March 29 along with the Concert sa Panaad with Rico Blanco and Janella Salvador, Panaad 2025 Invitational Championship Match, Kapamilya Kaaravan, and Anime Cosplay.
On the last day of the festivities, the drumbeating competition, raffle draw of Panaad Stamp and Snap, and Concert sa Panaad with Parokya ni Edgar, and a fireworks display will be held.
The festival now on it’s 29th year will also feature the pavilions of the 32 towns and cities of the province with products made and produced by Negrenses to be showcased at the Organic Villeges, Livestock and Dairy Fair Exhibit, among others.*
