Magalona bagged the gold medal in the Javelin Throw competition at the recently concluded Palarong Panlalawigan (Provincial Meet) 2023 held from March 29 to April 2. Jose Marie Yngson, a Grade 11 HUMSS student of E. B. Magalona National High School, displayed his winning form with his 48.61 meter record, bagging gold in Javelin Throw in the Secondary Athletics Boys category.
