The Negros Occidental provincial government is providing another incentive for fully vaccinated individuals.
They will be allowed entry into the Mambukal Resort in Murcia for free when it reopens to local tourists in December, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said.
The offer for free entry to fully vaccinated individuals starting from age 12 will be available for two weeks, or until further notice, he said.
Children under 12 years old who are not covered by the vaccination drive yet will also be allowed in with their parents, he said.
Those who wish to avail of the offer need to preregister at the Mambukal Resort office at the Capitol Lagoon Park in Bacolod City when the guidelines being drawn up are ready, Diaz said.
The entry of visitors will be limited to 70 percent of the resort’s capacity, that is why preregistration is necessary, he added.
Mambukal that has been used as a healing center for COVID-hit provincial government employees is being reopened to the public in December with the drop in COVID-19 cases in the province.
Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said he has already given instructions for the soft opening of Mambukal, which will no longer house COVID-positive persons.*
