The Negros Occidental provincial government turned over breeding animals and motorcycles worth P2.3 million to personnel of animal district centers, artificial insemination (AI) centers, and farmers associations in Negros Occidental at the Provincial Capitol grounds in Bacolod City, on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson led the turnover of 10 motorcycles worth P1.9M to animal district center personnel to boost the Provincial Animal Biosecurity Program.

Nine dummy sows worth P270,000 to be used for artificial insemination were also distributed to the AI Centers across the province and the Negros First Ranch.
Pigs and cattle were also distributed to AI centers and livelihood associations to boost breeding and livelihood in the province.

Another three cattle were also given to rebel returnees by the 303rd Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army at their camp in Isabela town.*
