Lawyer Amy Grace Bolivar took her oath of office as permanent Negros Occidental provincial treasurer at the Capitol in Bacolod City on Monday, December 13, after having held the post in an acting capacity for a little over a year.
She had assumed the post of acting provincial treasurer on Dec. 2, 2020.
Bolivar took her oath before Maria Rhodora Gascon, Acting Regional Director of the Bureau of Local Government Finance Regional Office VI, in the presence of Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz.
She had previously served as city treasurer of San Carlos and municipal treasurer of EB Magalona.*
