A businessman and an unidentified person were found dead in Himamaylan City and Isabela, Negros Occidental, on Saturday, February 10.
The 46-year-old businessman, whose name was withheld by the police, was shot outside his store in Brgy. IV-Poblacion, Himamaylan, by an unidentified person.
The victim was outside his store attending to customers when suddenly an unidentified man wearing a white T-shirt shot him in the head, the police said.
The businessman was brought to the Gov. Valeriano Gatuslao Memorial Hospital but was declared dead.
Meanwhile, an unidentified man was found dead in a burned sugarcane field in Sitio Alegria, Brgy. 5, Isabela, the police said.*
