BCPO top performer in WV for December

The Bacolod City Police Office was the top performing police station in Western Visayas in December based on the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) of the Police Regional Office-6 released recently.

Records showed that the BCPO’s UPER under City Police Director Noel Aliño is at 96.30 percent, the highest among the city, provincial, and regional mobile force offices of PRO-6.

Following BCPO was the Aklan Police Provincial Office with 95.79 percent, Iloilo City Police Office with 95.70 percent, and Negros Occidental PPO with 95.07;

Iloilo PPO at 94.81 percent, Capiz PPO at 94.32 percent, Antique PPO at 93.39 percent, Guimaras PPO at 92.85, and Regional Mobile Force Company-6 at 81.73.

The UPER system of the Philippine National Police aims to assess the units of the agency to serve as basis for retention or relief of unit commanders and monitor progress in achieving their goals.

UPER is measured through the operational and administrative criteria which comprises 60 and 40 percent of the total rating, respectively.*
