The police arrested two females and seized suspected shabu worth P2 million in a buy-bust operation in Purok Laurel, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City, on Friday, Jan.17.
Arrested were alias “Maricar”, 39, of Brgy Mansilingan, and alias “Jessa”, 36, of Brgy. 27, the police reported.
The City Drug Enforcement Unit confiscated from them 300 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street drug price of P2,040,000.
The suspects will face charges for violating sections 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the police said.*
