Asenso Raffle goes virtual, Benitez adds more prizes

The Asenso Raffle Live Event of former Rep. Albee Benitez will go virtual instead, with the elevation of Bacolod to Alert Level 3 following the increase of COVID-19 cases in the city.

The Asenso Raffle will still push through with the giving away of prizes to Bacolodnons through virtual draws, a press release from the Bacolod mayoral bet’s camp said Friday, January 14.

The virtual raffle draws will be aired on the official Facebook page of Benitez on January 15, 23, 30 and February 6.

Benitez added one more car to the three existing cars for the raffle draw and posted “#ApatDapat” last January 10 that brought excitement to Asenso leaders and supporters, the press release said.

“I am ready for the raffle draw, and I hope that I will be one of the lucky leaders who will win one of the prizes”, Remelyn Pantonial, one of Benitez’s supporters, said.

The volume of support from Bacolodnons who are looking forward to the Asenso raffle is overwhelming. As of this writing, the giveaway poster reached a total of 10,000 likes, 13,000 comments, 2,900 shares and almost 500,000 reach, the press release said.

“The goal of the raffle is to salute all the hard work and invaluable sacrifices of our Asenso leaders to amplify our call for change and our dream for a better Bacolod City,” Benitez said.

Bacolodnons can join as well by engaging with the live raffle draw and by participating with the live game segments to get a chance to win exciting prizes separate from the raffle draw, the press release said.

To join the live raffle, one must be a Bacolod resident and must follow the official Facebook page of Albee Benitez.

Winners of the raffle get to take home one out four best-selling model cars from a known brand, motorcycles, cellphones, laptops, grocery items, and cash prizes, the press release said.*
