A suspected drug personality, who was talking to his friend in front of his house, was shot to death by unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects in Brgy. 20, Victorias City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, November 9.
Killed was Hilarion “Tintoy” Castro, 53, who was identified by the police as a street-level drug personality.
The victim was talking to his friend when the two unidentified suspects on board a motorcycle arrived and shot him several times, a police report showed.
The victim was immediately rushed to the Kaayong Lawas Medical Foundation Inc. in Victorias City but was declared dead on arrival.
Recovered from the crime scene were three fired empty shells and one dud bullet of a .45 caliber pistol.
The police are still investigating the case.*
