Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez and about 10 others from Bacolod City will be taking their oaths as members of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in Manila on Thursday, Sept 12.
Councilors Em Ang and Jude Thaddeus Sayson, and other possible candidates for councilor of the Asenso Bacolod slate will also be taking their oaths as PFP members, Benitez said on Monday, Sept. 9.
They will be sworn in by either South Cotabato Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo Jr., PFP president, or Secretary Antonio Lagdameo Jr., PFP executive vice president, Benitez said.
Meanwhile, a Love Negros assembly to discuss the 2025 candidates for Negros Occidental will be held at his residence in Bacolod City on Sunday, Sept. 15, Benitez said.
They may also discuss the Bacolod bets for 2025 at the meeting, he said, but refused to say what position he is running for in 2025.*
