Seven employees at two Negros Occidental provincial government hospitals have tested positive for the use of drugs, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Wednesday, Dec. 27.
There were five who tested positive at the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City and two at the Cadiz District Hospital in Cadiz City, he said.
There were five who were positive for shabu and two for marijuana, Diaz added.
This brings to 27 the Negros Occidental provincial government employees who tested positive for drugs this December, he said.
The 27 and 16 others with “grey” results will be subjected to confirmatory tests in the first half of January, Diaz said.
Employees at the rest of the provincial government hospitals will be subjected to drug tests in 2024, he added.*
