Three persons were arrested for selling fake vaccination cards at a printing press at Locsin Street in Barangay 24, Bacolod City Monday, January 17.
Maj. Ramel Sarona, Police Station 1 commander, said the arrested persons included the printing press owner and the two individuals who were making the transactions with would-be customers.
Sarona said they received the information about the suspects’ illegal activity at the printing press two weeks ago.
After verification by the Regional Intelligence Unit and the Emergency Operations Center, police operatives conducted the operation against the suspects, who are now detained at Police Station 1.
Charges for violation of the Republic Act no.11332 or falsification of public documents will be filed against the three suspects.*
