A total of 196 persons deprived of liberty and jail personnel tested negative for drugs at the Metro Bacolod Jail of the Bacolod City Police Office Compound in Brgy. Singcang-Airport, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency reported on Monday, Feb. 24.
They conducted random drug tests as part of their greyhound operations last week, the PDEA-6 said.
Tested were 146 PDLs and 56 jail personnel.
The PDEA agents also conducted a search and seizure of contraband within the facility and no illegal drugs were found.
The operation was conducted by PDEA-Negros Occidental with the PDEA-Seaport Interdiction Unit, and BJMP personnel.*
