127 Victorias traffic enforcers, PNP personnel negative for drugs

A total of 127 police personnel and traffic enforcers yielded negative results in random drug tests conducted by the Victorias City government in Negros Occidental on January 17 and Thursday, February 8.

The 82 police personnel and 45 traffic enforcers were subjected to random drug tests on the two dates, the Victorias public information office reported.

The drug tests were conducted by the Negros Occidental Crime Laboratory on January 17 and the Victorias City Health Office on Thursday.

The Victorias PNP and Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez ordered the conduct of the tests “to promote a drug-free city and maintain integrity and public trust”.*
