Voter registration for the 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) will resume Monday, October 20.
The registration period will run for seven months, concluding on May 18, 2026, Ian Lee Ananoria, Provincial Elections Supervisor of Negros Occidental, said on Thursday, October 16.
COMELEC offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Saturdays, to accommodate registrants for the November 2026 BSKE.
The Comelec advised applicants to bring a valid government-issued ID. Cedulas and barangay-issued IDs or certificates will not be accepted.
All types of applications, including for transfer of registration, will be accepted during this period, Ananoria said.*
