A teacher was injured after she was allegedly shot by her policeman husband in Brgy. Ayungon, Valladolid, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
The 37-year-old teacher was injured after she was shot by his 33-year-old husband, who is a policeman assigned in a different province.
Investigation revealed that the couple had a heated argument and the policeman got his service firearm and shot his wife.
The victim was hit in her elbow and was brought to the Don Salvador Benedicto District Hospital and is now in stable condition.
The suspect is now detained at the Valladolid Police Station.*
