A tokhang surrenderee was arrested and P54,400 in suspected shabu was seized from him in a buy-bust operation in Zone 2, Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, on Monday, July 1.
Arrested was Arlo Acot, 59, of Barangay Mambulac, the police reported.
The police said that the suspect was a tokhang surrenderee who had joined a Community Based Drug Rehabilitation Program in 2020.
Recovered from Acot were eight sachets of suspected shabu weighing eight grams, the police said.
The suspect is now detained at the Silay City Police Station, while the recovered suspected drugs were brought to the Police Provincial Forensics Unit in Bacolod City.*
