A 55-year-old man was shot and killed in front of his wife who is a barangay kagawad in Sitio Banquerohan, Brgy. Salamanca, Toboso, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday morning, February 13.
Allan Macasling Sr., 55, was shot by one of five unidentified suspects, the police said.
The victim was attending to his fishpond when the suspects armed with high powered weapons arrived and brought him in front of his house where he was shot in front of his wife, witnesses said.
He was shot in the head causing his instantaneous death, the police said.
The suspects then fled after the incident.
The Toboso Police Station, Negros Occidental Police Mobile Force Company and Escalante City Police operatives are searching for the suspects.*
