A teenager died after he was mauled and stabbed by two suspects while attending a Christmas party in Brgy. Biak na Bato, La Castellana, Negros Occidental, early Sunday morning, Dec. 10.
The 19-year-old laborer died after two males aged 34 and 21 mauled and stabbed him after a heated argument at the plaza in Brgy. Biak Na Bato at about 1:40 a.m. of Dec. 10, a police report said.
The police withheld the names of the victim and the suspects.
The victim and the 34-year-old suspect were attending a barangay Christmas party and were under the influence of alcohol when a heated argument led to a fistfight.
The 21-year-old suspect, who is the cousin of the 34-year-old, stabbed the victim in his chest.
The victim was rushed to the Rural Health Unit but was declared dead on arrival.
The 34-year-old suspect is now under the custody of La Castellana Police Station while the other suspect escaped.*
