Members of Task Force Spaghetti Wires convened on Wednesday, Oct. 16, to prepare for the resumption of their operations after the MassKara Festival in Bacolod City.
The Telcos expressed their continued commitment to help the local government in fixing the tangled wires on electric poles in some parts of the city, a press release from the Bacolod information office said.
The meeting presided by Councilor Pao Sy, Sangguniang Panlungsod Chairperson on Public Works, was attended by representatives of telecommunication companies, the City Engineer’s Office, Bacolod Traffic Authority Office, PNP and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
The Task Force is scheduled to work for four days a week and will prioritize the spaghetti wires along the downtown area and Lacson Street.*
