Talisay Mayor Neil Lizares said he and his wife, Rowena, are joining the Lakas CMD party.
Several other Talisay candidates will also be joining the Lakas CMD, Lizares said.
Rowena Lizares, Angels’ Wings Foundation president, is running for mayor of Talisay City in 2025, her husband confirmed on Friday, Sept 6.
Her runningmate will be Talisay Vice Mayor Nicolai Jalandoni III.
Running for councilor under her ticket are Martin Gerard Lizares, Kenn Thomas Tirthdas, Gorgonio Treyes, Wayne Benedict Faisan, Joemarie Macariola Estelloso, Wilfred Malan, Wolfgang Tuvilla, Eng. Emmanuel Ebro, Erlou Penado and Mercedes Ereñeta.
Former Talisay Vice Mayor Samuel Siote is also expected to run for mayor of Talisay City with Councilor Gabriel Villacin as his runningmate.
