The Talisay City Hall and the Mayor’s Office in Sipalay City have been closed for disinfection after several employees tested positive for COVID-19.
The new Talisay City Hall will be temporarily closed Thursday and Friday, June 24-25, for disinfection and contact tracing, Mayor Neil Lizares said Wednesday.
Six employees from the city planning and development, human resource, general services and mayor’s offices have tested positive for COVID-19.
The Sipalay City Mayor’ Office will also be closed on Thursday and Friday for disinfection and contact tracing after one employee tested positive for COVID-19, Executive Assistant Dionilo Bogtae said.
The Sipalay City Sangguniang Panlungsod office has also been closed with the number of its employees who tested positive for COVID-19 having increased to seven on Wednesday, Bogtae said.*
