The Kabankalan resident believed to be the oldest living person in the world did not make it to the Guinness World Records because of the failure to submit all of the documents required, her granddaughter said on Tuesday, November 23.Francisca Susano, also known as Lola Iska, was believed to be the oldest living person in the country and the world at 124 years old. She passed away at her home in Barangay Camingawan, Kabankalan City, on Monday, November 22.Her granddaughter, Merlene Susano, said they were not able to submit Lola Iska’s baptismal certificate and some other documents in time.Lola Iska who planted rootcrops for a living in her younger days had 14 children, eight of whom are alive.
