SSS serves show cause orders to more delinquent businesses 

SSS  personnel serving show cause orders on Friday.* 

The Social Security System (SSS) served show cause orders to 14 more business establishments in Bacolod City on day two of its Run After Contribution Evaders (RACE) campaign in Bacolod City on Friday,  March 8. 

The 14 businesses failed to remit P3,449,202  in contributions affecting 132 employees, Josefa Pineda, SSS acting regional communications officer, said. 

The SSS Bacolod branch officials issued show cause orders to owners of a merchandizings store restaurant/coffee shop, hotel, tailoring shop and jewelry shop in barangays 5, 12 and 17. 

Their delinquencies totaled P2,218,946.77 affecting 94 employees, Pineda said. 

The SSS Bacolod East Branch  officials served show caused orders to owners of a gasoline station, repair shop, and sugar farming and merchandising businesses in Barangay Villamonte. 

They had total delinquencies of P1,230,256.66 affecting 36 employees, Pineda said 

On Thursday the SSS also served show cause orders to  14 business establishments in Bacolod City for failure to remit P3.3 million affecting  221 employees.*
