A man was injured after he was shot by an unidentified person over an alleged land conflict in Purok Mabinuligon, Brgy. Maricalum, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, on Monday, Sept. 9.
Efren Teodoro, 63, of Sitio Dalipi, Barangay Maricalum, was shot in the head.
Investigation revealed the victim was driving a motorcycle with his grandson and when they stopped, the suspect shot the back of his head.
The suspect escape, while the victim was brought to the Sipalay City Health Office for medical treatment.*
