Sidlak Music Festival in Victorias a success, draws crowd of 12,000

The first-ever Sidlak Music Fest drew a crowd of 12,000, filling the Victorias City Coliseum to capacity on Saturday, March 22, making it one of the biggest events of the Kadalag-an Festival in Victorias City.

Victoriasanons were treated to a night of top-tier entertainment, featuring an electrifying lineup of performances that kept the energy soaring until the very end, a press release from Victorias City said.

Adding a dose of humor, hosts Wacky Kiray and Alexa Miro kept the audience engaged with their witty banter and comedic flair, making the night even more enjoyable.

Nico Antonio opened the evening with a dynamic performance, building up the crowd’s excitement.

Michael Pangilinan followed with his signature feel-good R&B and soul music, serenading the crowd with his hit song “Bakit Ba Ikaw,” which had the audience cheering and singing along.

Lucky fans even got the chance to join him on stage, adding to the excitement of the night.

Zack Tabudlo took over with his chart-topping hits, getting the crowd to sing along when he sang “Pano”.

Imago brought a wave of nostalgia with their iconic songs, drawing cheers from longtime supporters and getting the crowd on their feet to jam along to “Taralets”.

The highlight of the evening came when Pinoy Big Brother housemates JM Ibarra and Sofia Smith, more popularly known as ‘JMFyang’, took the stage, sending the crowd into a frenzy with their undeniable chemistry.

Fandoms from Bacolod and even as far as Iloilo gathered to show their support and watch their idols perform live, the press release said.

Victorias City Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez was seen jamming along and enjoying, staying throughout the night.*
