A balut vendor was shot to death by three unidentified suspects in Sitio Proper, Brgy. Pinapugasan, Escalante City, Negros Occidental, on Sunday, March 23.
The victim was identified by the police only as alias “Abe”, 41, of Brgy. Libertad, Escalante City.
The victim was going to the Sitio Proper where a fiesta was being held when the suspects approached and shot him in the chest, the police said.
The victim was brought to a hospital where he was declared dead, while his assailants escaped.*
