A septuagenarian who was accused of raping a 17-year-old girl was arrested in his residence at Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City, on Tuesday, June 8.
Nabbed was 70-year-old Nelson David, who was charged for raping a 17-year-old girl sometime in 2020.
Personnel of the Bacolod Police Station 4 swooped down on the suspect’s house to serve his warrant of arrest for rape issued by Bacolod Regional Trial Court Judge Phoebe Gargantiel-Balbin on April 14, with no bail recommended.
David is now detained at the Police Station 4.*
