Anita Valero, 74, a resident of Sitio Talingakoy Gamay in Brgy. Payao was found floating in the river on Thursday, August 8, in a state of decomposition
Lt. Glen Portunes, Binalbagan Deputy Police Chief, told DIGICAST NEGROS that based on their initial investigation, the victim slipped off a rock while crossing the river on her way home.
The strong current carried the victim away causing her to drown.*
