Seventy couples at Brgy. Malubon in Sagay City, including their barangay captain and his partner, were married at the barangay’s covered court Monday, March 3.
Sagay Mayor Narciso “Narwin” Javelosa Jr. administered the wedding of barangay captain Joseph Añalucas and 69 other couples.
The event was also attended by Vice Mayor Leo Rafael Cueva, councilors Sherwin Sy, Roldan Gamao, Rodnel de los Reyes, Ching Javellana, and Dura Javelosa, and Local Civil Registry head Vivencio Floren.
The mayor aims to conduct mass weddings in every barangay while bringing closer to the communities the government services available under his administration.
