The skeletal remains of an 84-year-old man who went missing for a month were found in Brgy. Concepcion, Talisay City in Negros Occidental on Thursday, Nov. 9.
The remains of the victim identified as Jose Java, 84, of Barangay Concepcion were found in a sugarcane field, the police said Friday.
The victim, who was reported to have Alzheimer’s Disease, usually roamed around the area and would not return home for days, the police report said.
The victim went missing on October 11 and was not seen alive since then.
A farmer worker found the remains of Java while cutting sugarcane in the field.
Java was identified by his family through the clothes he was wearing.*
