The police have filed charges against an American for the death of his wife, who was found buried in their property at Barangay Palinpinon in Valencia, Negros Orientalm on Wednesday, July 20.
A case of parricide was filed against Daniel Glazier, while his new partner was charged with murder for the death of Maribel Glazier, 32, the police said Friday, July 22.
Glazier was discovered in one of their properties after she was reported missing last week.
Maj. Roger Quijano, Valencia police chief, said before the incident the victim left a letter with her friends saying that if anything happened to her, they should look for her husband.
The police are looking at a love triangle and a property dispute as the motives behind the behind the killing of the wife.
The two suspects have not issued a statement regarding the death of the nurse.
The couple’s two children are now in the custody of the victim’s brother.*
