A man was found dead after he was hacked on the head in Brgy. Zone 6, Pulupandan, Negros Occidental, on Saturday, October 21.
Leo Apostol, 33, who was formerly imprisoned for alleged homicide, was found dead on the roadside along Purok Von Ryan, Brgy. Zone 6, the police said.
Acting Pulupandan police chief, Capt. Emman Anacleto, said that earlier that night, the victim was seen lying on the roadside due to drunkenness.
Hours later, he was found dead with several hack wounds on his head, he added.
The police are looking at a grudge as the possible motive of the incident as the victim is known to cause alarm and scandal when he is intoxicated.*
