The Police Regional Office–Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) confiscated more than P5.8 million worth of suspected shabu during their weeklong operations from October 27 to November 2.
The report also recorded 31 anti-illegal gambling operations, resulting in the arrest of 81 suspects and the confiscation of P15,240 in bet money.
In the campaign against loose firearms, PRO-NIR conducted 70 operations, resulting in the accounting, confiscation, surrender, and recovery of 94 firearms and explosives combined.
Meanwhile, 223 wanted persons, including 19 Most Wanted Persons, were arrested across Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental during the same period.*
