Police Regional Office–Negros Island Region policemen seized more than P12.9 million worth of suspected shabu in a series of operations from Dec. 1 to 7.
The PRO-NIR reported recovering 1,910.031 grams of suspected shabu during 52 anti-drug operations across the region.
A total of 68 individuals were arrested for illegal drug offenses during the week.
The police also intensified efforts against loose firearms and recovered 42 surrendered firearms, six confiscated guns, 16 accounted firearms, seven explosives, and two abandoned weapons during 50 operations.
They also conducted 14 anti-illegal gambling operations that led to the arrest of 22 individuals and the confiscation of P5,737 in bet money.
They also arrested 18 most wanted individuals and 62 other wanted persons.*
