A high-value drug suspect was arrested while suspected shabu worth P374,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental, on Thursday, April 16.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Tamiyat.”
Authorities said the operation was conducted by joint operatives of the Police Drug Enforcement Group and Tanjay City Police Station in Brgy. 8.
Recovered from the suspect were around 55 grams of suspected shabu.
The suspect is now under police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
