Police have officially filed a murder case in connection with the fatal shooting of Engineer Romie Yu Li, a hardware store owner who was gunned down in Brgy. 12 on September 9.
The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), through Police Station 1, confirmed that the case was filed before the City Prosecutor’s Office on October 24, following the completion of a thorough investigation.
Li, 52, owner of Republic Hardware Inc., was shot dead while opening his store along Bonifacio Street, Brgy. 12.
The suspect was identified as a certain “Allan”, a resident of Brgy. Pahanocoy, Bacolod City.
Police reports said Li sustained a gunshot wound to the back of his head.
The suspect fled onboard an SUV with unidentified companions.*
