Shabu worth P248,880 was seized last week, Nov. 21 to 27, the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office reported Tuesday.
The Negros Occidental police conducted seven anti-illegal drug operations that led to the arrest of 14 suspects and the confiscation of 36.6 grams of suspected shabu, the NOCPPO weekly accomplishment report said.
The Negros Occidental police also confiscated three firearms in operations related to Republic Act 10591 or the Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, and arrested 53 individuals in 16 anti-illegal gambling operations.
They also arrested five most wanted individuals, and 38 other wanted individuals, the NOCPPO added.*
