A 43-year-old man was arrested and about P170,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation in Purok Boulevard, Brgy. 14, Bacolod City on Tuesday, April 28.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Bojo” of Brgy. 14.
Police Station 1 operatives conducted the operation in coordination with the City Intelligence Unit after receiving information on the suspect’s alleged illegal drug activities in the area.
Authorities said the suspect was arrested after selling suspected shabu to an undercover operative.
Recovered from the suspect were one sachet of suspected shabu used as buy-bust item, four additional sachets of suspected shabu, a coin purse, and marked money.
Police said the suspect is now under detained at Police Station 1 and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
