A regional target listed drug personality was apprehended and P102,000 in suspected shabu was seized in Purok Lirio, Brgy. Antipolo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, 10 a.m. Sunday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Western Visayas reported.
The PDEA and police operatives arrested Agusto Hoquire, alias “Onyok”, with about 15 grams of suspected shabu,
Operating units from the PDEA VI Special Enforcement Team (RSET) Bravo, PDEA Negros Occidental Provincial Office (NOCPO), and Pontevedra Municipal Police Station conducted the buy-bust operation.
Cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being prepared for filing in court against the suspect, the PDEA said.*
