OVP distributes 2,360 school bags in Negros

Some 2,360 learners from four public elementary schools in Bacolod City and E.B Magalona received  “Pagbabago Bags” from the Office of the Vice President (OVP), Dr. Chris Sorongon said on Sunday, Sept. 1.

The distribution was part of the “Nationwide Simultaneous PagbaBAGo Bags Distribution” of the  OVP on Friday, August 30,

The OVP distributed 2,360 PagbaBAGo bags to students from E.B Magalona Elementary School, Antonio L. Jayme Elementary School, Don Rodolfo A. Medel Sr. Elementary School and the Bacolod City SPED Center, Sorongon, a OVP – Bacolod satellite office volunteer, said.

This initiative is part of OVP’s PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners campaign that aims to distribute one million backpacks throughout the Philippines and promote the importance of education, he added.*
