The Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center hosted the 2nd Battle of Bots: Negros Occidental Virtual Robotics Competition from September 5-9 in partnership with Pinoy Robot Games.
Players from the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Bacolod bagged the championship and third place award in the line tracing competition elementary category.
A contestant from the School of the Future San Carlos City won second place.
It was a back to back win for Ramon Torres National High School bagging the championship in the line tracing and sumobot competition high school category.
A player from Cabacungan National High school settled in the 3rd place.
Champions in the line tracing and sumobot competition will represent the province in the National Robotics Competition on September 30, particularly in the virtual hockey and sumobot category.
Battle of Bots is NOLITC’s annual robotics training and competition that focuses on guiding young minds to use their abilities in solving practical problems through robotics. The theme for 2022 is “Greener Digital Cities”.
Sixty-nine satisfactorily completed the online robotics and intelligent machines training and 37 challengers have participated in this year’s competition.
