San Carlos City residents arriving from the Toledo Port in Cebu province are no longer required to present a Safe, Swift, and Smart Passage (S-PaSS) travel coordination permit.
Joe Recalex Alingasa Jr., San Carlos Emergency Operations Center manager, in a travel advisory said all they have to present is proof that they are residents of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, and a vaccination card indicating that they are fully vaccinated.
Those who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated must present prior to departure a COVID-19 negative RT-PCR test result valid within 72 hours from swab sample extraction or a Rapid Antigen Test result valid 48 hours from extraction, he said.
Proof of residence required is a valid government-issued identification card or confirmation from the EOC’s travel assistance desk, which will issue a notice of acceptance.*
