Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Benitez said he wants to know what the public wants the city government to do with the Halandumon Tower near the Bacolod City Public Plaza.
The mayor on Monday directed the City Public Information Office to put up a post asking netizens what they want. “I am leaving it to the people to decide,” he said.
Thieves stole the electrical connections worth about P300,00 from the tower that was built by the previous administration for P4.8 million.
Some netizens have called for the return of the clock tower to the site where the Halandumon Tower is located.*
